Use "Script" command in the user.py file

Hello,
I'm looking to use the "script" commands (like set selected track, set the value of a modifier, etc) in the user.py file.
I did not succeed to it. So, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's possible to use them with custom python coding ?
