Trouble importing .json file into Control Surface studio

Hi,
I just bought and installed the latest version of Control Studio for Mac. I was able to write a script and export .json for Ableton 10 and it works fine.
I can't get Control Surface to import any .json files from my computer. Every time I use Choose file and select the .json file from my computer..then select import.........I get this orange box pop up and says "The file you have attempted to import is not a script file. Trying to import a controller? use the import section in the Controller Manager.
Below is the file I'm trying to import and a screen shot of what I'm seeing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
