Testing Scripts without Controller?

I currently live without wifi and so need to go in town to work on my css script, but I'm working on a script for my 88-key controller. Is there any way to test a script without having the actual controller? Like some sort of software that can be selected as an input for control surfaces in Live and can trigger the actions through MIDI messages?

I use a free virtual midi keyboard called vmpk - https://vmpk.sourceforge.io/
As well as it being a keyboard, you can add midi cc buttons / sliders / knobs to it which is great.
I use it loads when I'm out and about :)
