Is it possible to create a map so that a parameter is activated (e.g volume on), when the specific note is played and is deactivated when the note is released? Opposed to having to play the note twice?

Appreciate all your help

Hi Jonathon,

Depending on what you want to control we have a couple of ways you can do it. Using Toggle is the simplest way. I'm not sure what you mean by Volume on though?

looking to turn parameters on/off such as arm/mute etc when a specific midi note is played on a dummy clip. I have been trying this with IAC, however, there is a very small delay when using IAC (Approx 20 ms), therefore, looking to other software/approaches.

Does Remotify, have something that could help me here?

Hi Jonathon,

Yes you can turn arm/mute on and off from specific midi notes with Control Surface Studio. This is pretty basic stuff really and it does a lot more than that.
