Having gone to post a new forum topic, my question was answered, how to markup text in a comment as code or bold etc.

When posting a new topic there's some helpful hints underneath the text box. this isn't present when adding comments to an existing topic.

Can you add this to the bottom of the topic page please so that people posting new comments have some idea about how to format their text.

It would have helped me, any people looking at my comments, if it were formatted correctly.

Hi ianef,

On https://remotify.io/filter/tips you can find some more tips about formatting text ;-)

I have read your other post, but my brain is too mushy after a long day at work to be able to make any remark that could help. Even correct indentation would not have helped here, lol

A workaround for the indentation problem could be to put the script in a txt file and upload it in your post. Granted it is not the best solution but it would be formatted as needed and easy for us to copy and try out for ourselves!
