Session box: Move by 1 space

We have just released an update to the Session Box Navigation mapping type.
You will now see a new select list titled "Move by" in which you can select the mapping to either move your session box
by page (the width or height of the session box)
or
by 1 track/scene.

Mode Note:
Having 1 of each type per mode is also possible. For example, you can have both a "move session box: left" button which is set to move by 1 space and then another to page left.

Also a little FYI, we will now announce all new updates as [Public Beta] Forum Posts, please feel free to test out the new functionality and reply with any comments you have.

Thanks

John

Issue:
Switching modes in scripts containing the new session box navigation option was causing an error.

This bug is now fixed, please regenerate your scripts to get the latest code.

hi John,

thanks for your quick response.
I m working very intense with remotify at the moment and i like it very much. but there are still problems or issues for me.

I like to have the "move by page" mapping , but i cant see the "move by..." in the session box navigation mapping.
it is also not possible for me to switch the devices on one track ( prev / next) by taking the button mappings (device parameter mapping) with them to use for every device on the selected track.

need some further help.
thanks.

Hi Martin,

This is strange, being a pro user, you should be able to see the 'move by' option. Try clearing your browser cache and reload the app page.

Regarding the device issue, could you create a separate forum post for this, or this issue may get lost :(

Thanks

Fix: If no option is selected in 'move by', it now defaults to 'page' when the script is generated.
Previously it would create a broken script.
This was only an issue when importing and re-generating code from older scripts.

Fix: switching mode was breaking scripts.
Regenerate your scripts.

Hi John, I have a small problem here. I'm using an APC mini and even though I have the move by set to 1, it jumps by 2. Any idea what's up?
Thanks

Hi Andy,

Sounds like your navigation button could be firing the same function on pressing and releasing it.
In remotify, try changing the 'momentary' setting (from yes to no or vice versa).
