CSS - nested devices

Hi

I'm strongly considering buying CSS - mainly because off the ability to access nested devices. Before I jump onboard, I would like to know how deep this access go. Would it for example be possible to control a device sitting on a pad in a drum rack and where that drum rack is also sitting inside an instrument rack? If this is possible it's a no-brainer for me :)

best regards

Hi adgangfolmer,

Yes, in theory you can go as deep as you like.
When you add a Device to your script you can add chain targeting to go down levels (see the attached pic).

Thanks. So just to be sure. In your example I would be controlling a device that's nested in another device, which in is again nested in another device?

My example above would select the device in the attached image

Thanks. Looks like it can do, what I need it to do :)
