Can't use Button Function. disappointed

When I write out scripts for the Play Button and other buttons to operate and load them into ableton, chattering always seems to occur.
I bought CSS because I wanted to use solo for Selected Track in Track Selector, but now I can't use it at all. I want a refund.

What controller are you using?

This is a self-made MIDI controller made by Arduino. I thought the controller was bad, so I tried it unconnected, but the situation did not change....

In this case, if I create a script for the mute button of the selected track, it will work such that the mute button of the selected track is always off when loaded in ableton. Even if I manually turn it on, it is instantly turned off. When I created a script for the playback button of a project, it would always be in playback state, and even if I pressed the stop button, it would instantly play again.

okay, so when you set up your template you have to choose whether your buttons are notes or CC's, and if they are toggles or momentary. How is the button you are using set up?

You can also adjust how the button reacts in the mapping using "control override". These settings will probably help you with your problem.

Thanks for the advice. I tried a few things and it seems that if I specify the same thing for the input and output of the control surface in the midi settings in ableton, the signal is looping infinitely. I set the input and output to different things and it works. Thanks for the answer. It helped.
