Hello,
Having a hard time with CSS Controller Templates and Scripts for my Xone:K2
1 - Button inputs in CSS Have only On/Off control types. However I have to override the control to Absolute in my scripts to have buttons switching properly in Ableton (momentary style). on/off control type seems to be not recognized in live for me...
2 -Then if I want to build some Reactions, using "Button pressed" as listeners, I could not see how to change the button type to Absolute (in the Reaction blocks). So my Reactions do not respond to buttons.
3 -Last question: XoneK2 controller only provides momentary buttons (no toggle). Would Reaction scripts be the only way to setup "Toggle" behavior for this controller ' s buttons (based on previous and current velocity values) ?
Thanks for your help!
Mat

Hi Mat,
Have you tried using the K2 controller template which we have available within Control Surface Studio? go to controller templates > click import near the top right, then click 'import for the K2.
This should have all of the inputs configured correctly to the factory defaults for the 3 latching layers.

Thanks John. I did use the k2 controller template within CSS (very usefull to have it already designed)
However I am still struggling with button assignment in my scripts. Could someone else confirm that ON/OFF type is not working (my point 1 above)? I have to change to Absolute in the script but then I could not see how to change it in a reaction (point 2).
Would be useful to have an example of a basic working script (for k2) with on/off button working in both momentary/toggle mode.
Thanks for your help!
