From Version 2.5 onwards, the Copy and Paste functionality which was previously accessed by right clicking on a Mapping has now been replaced with a single āDuplicateā Button. The Button is found on the right side of every Script, Mapping, Controller and Controller Input. Clicking the Duplicate Button is instantly create a copy of the Item below with the word ācopyā added to the end....
In your Volume Mapping, change āControlā from Default to Custom. When you update a Script, in order for the changes to become available, Live needs to reload. There are 2 ways you can do this.
Reboot
This involves closing Live completely and launching it again. Itās quite slow, especially if youāre continuously checking tweaks to your script. This way is only really necessary when certain Errors have been introduced in your script and even then, for most errors you donāt need to completely reboot Live....
About Tracks (Track Selectors)
Track Mapping Types are not Mappings in the same way that the Undo mapping is for example. They are settings where you select the Track which all child mappings will use. Mapping Types such as Volume, Panning & Devices are all child Mappings of Tracks, which means they use the settings you configure in your Track Mapping.
