Hi guys,
anybody have the Behringer X-Touch Mini?
I made some useful hacks with Bome midi translator to make the acceleration on the knobs works and also the LED feedback to remain after pressing the buttons, so if somebody is interested I can post it in here.
Also, would be cool if you have any other tip or trick regarding this controller or CSS in general!
Mauro.

Hello! Yes, please do! =) I just got CSS to customize mine and trying to figure out how things works in general.. I thought I got around the LED feedback by just having it in MC mode, which kind of works but my generated script seems to throw the unit out of MC mode so obviously it wasn't that simple.

I'm bumping this and clarify my comment with a question:

Does anyone have a clue why my X-Touch Mini sometimes changes mode from Mackie Control to Standard when I connecting it with a (very basic) css-script? It never does that otherwise.

Normally you set it to a Mackie compatible mode when connecting it and holding a button (or in the behringer software) , then it stays like that no matter what, and that mode is the only way to take over the leds properly.

That error just disappeared for no reason so.. that's good I guess.

Also, I did a script using encoder acceleration and led feedback etc that could be interesting, it's in this thread:
https://remotify.io/community/question/interpreting-relative-encoders

And I'll just copy/paste it here too just in case:

If anyone wants a script for the x-touch mini that controls eight parameters on the first device on any selected track (like the Mackie Control script but without any button pushing), I'm putting it here! With acceleration, LED ring feedback, push to reset to default and all.

The unit needs to be in MC mode, and oh I found this online, how to control the LED rings. I'm using the TRIM mode in this version but it's easy to change.

Encoders

CC 48-55

Value:

0 = OFF
1-11 = SINGLE
17-27 = TRIM (22 in the middle)
33-43 = FAN
49-54 = SPREAD

hi everybody :)
i'm going crazy.
i dont understand, how to setup a simple channelstrip (vol, bal, sends) with the 8 endless encoders of my behringer xtouch mini.

in the jpegs attached you can see my setup (in the example for balance).
ableton reacts - but very strange.
first question:
there are 2 places (script AND template) where i can define the value of left, right and steps.
where and how i have to change the parameters?

what ist the simplest beginner-way to control a knob in ableton with an endless encoder?
i cant be that difficult, or?

thanks a lot for your help!
